Saturday, December 20, 2003 -- Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson; Colleen Cookson of Shreveport; Tony Novak of Uncertain; Karyn, Tracey, and Julia Hoover; and Paul Fortune and his granddaughters, Hannah and Emma Smith.
Location: The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).
Weather Conditions: The morning low temperature was 29º F, and the afternoon high was 52º F. Skies were clear.
Number of Nets: Twelve (12)
Time: Nets were set up between 8:45 and 10:15 a.m. and closed by 5:50 p.m.

Location: The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).
Weather Conditions: The morning low temperature was 27º F, and the afternoon high was 53º F, with clear skies.
Number of Nets: Thirteen (13)
Time: Nets were set up between 9:10 and 10:30 a.m. and closed by 5:15 p.m.
