Saturday, December 11, 2004: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson,
Dorothy Metzler of Longview, and graduate students Eric Walsh and Victor Bogosian of LSU-Shreveport.
Location: The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).
Weather Conditions: C
lear and sunny with a light breeze. The morning low temperature was 35º F, and the afternoon high was 58º F.Number of Nets: Thirteen (13)
Time:
Nets were set up between 8:20 and 9:35 a.m. and were closed by 4:20 p.m.

True Mann and Dorothy Metzler of Longview; Dan, Carley and Ben Small and Cathy-Jo Thompson from Canada and the Woodlands; Rene, Niels and Anne Dekoeijer, and Marjolein Sileon of the Netherlands and the Woodlands.
Weather Conditions: Mostly cloudy
and breezy (wind: 10-15 mph), with a brief afternoon shower. The morning low temperature was 59º F and the afternoon high was 68º F.Number of Nets: Thirteen (13)
Time:
Nets were set up between 9:10 and 10:05 a.m. and were closed by 4:30 p.m.
