Tuesday, December 26, 2006: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Paul Miliotis of Karnack
, Tony Novak of Karnack, Shirley Shivers of Karnack, Henry Bradbury of Addison, Larry Wayne Schultz of Marshall, and Diane Jones of Jonesville.
Weather
Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 28º F and
the afternoon high was 49º F with sunny skies and almost no wind.
Number of Nets: Fourteen (14)
Time: We started putting up nets at 9:15 a.m. and all nets were closed by 5:00 p.m.
