Saturday, December 8, 2007: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson
; Kent & Sandra Oney of Jefferson; Jack & Marilyn Welch of Uncertain; Chris Nickleson of Karnack; Bob & Peggy Spencer of Marshall; Paul Tidwell of Jefferson; Mary Alice Oatman of Jefferson and her granddaughters from Fort Worth; and Rita & Vic Lefebvre of Jefferson.
Weather
Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 62º F and
the afternoon high was 79º F. Skies were cloudy with a breeze from the
south.

Time: We started putting up nets at 8:45 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:30 p.m.
