Monday, January 19, 2004 -- Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Colleen Cookson and Wendy Sanson of Shreveport, Diane Jones of Jonesville, and Dorothy Metzler of Longview.
Location: The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).
Weather Conditions: The morning low temperature was 29º F, and the afternoon high was 42 F, with clear skies.
Number of Nets: Thirteen (13)
Time: Nets were set up between 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. and closed by 4:30 p.m.
