Saturday, March 3, 2007: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson
, Tony Novak of Karnack, Jim Lambright of Uncertain, and John Owings of Dallas.
Weather
Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 30º F and
the afternoon high was 54º F. It was sunny and windy (from the west).
Number
of Nets: Thirteen (13)
Time: We started putting up nets at 8:25 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:30 p.m.
