Saturday, March 8, 2008: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson,
Chuck Hubbard of Karnack, Jim Lambright of Uncertain, John Owings of Uncertain, John Fortune of Houston, and Diane Jones of Jonesville.
Weather
Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 31º F and
the afternoon high was 50º F.
The sky was clear with a breeze out of the west. The day before it had snowed.
Time:
We started putting up nets at 9:15 a.m. and all nets were closed by 5:10 p.m.
