Saturday, March 19, 2011:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities.  Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson; Charles Steger of Atlanta, Texas; Paul & JoAnne Tidwell of Jefferson; Kathy & Jay Patrick of Jefferson; Matt, Beth & Nathaniel Honea of DeBerry, Texas; Mary Alice Oatman of Jefferson; Bill, Dave, Ashland, & Alexa Oatman of Ft. Worth; Logan Houseman of Ft. Worth; Savannah Brown of Ft. Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 63º F and the afternoon high was 81º F.  The weather was partly cloudy with a breeze from the south.


Number of Nets:  Twelve (12)

 

Time:  We started setting up nets at 9:15 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:10 p.m.
