Saturday, April 16, 2005: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson; Ron Munden of Scottsville; True Mann of Longview; Phyllis Bailey of Uncertain; Tony Novak, Doug & Judi Parker, and Shane Strobel of Karnack; Mary Keasler of Jefferson; Laurel McNatt and Lou Violette of Marshall; Cissy, Richard, Robert & JR McCrary of Marshall; David Schwartz of Oakland, CA; Natalie, Audrey & Kathy O'Campo of Denton; and Amanda Crnkovic and Eric Walsh of Shreveport.
Weather Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 54º F and the afternoon high was 83º F with clear, sunny skies.Number of Nets: Twelve (12)
Time:
Nets were set up between 8:45 and 9:55 a.m. and were closed by 5:15 p.m.
