Saturday, November 5, 2005: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other visitors and participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson; Tony Novak of Karnack; Ron Munden of Marshall; Colleen Cookson of Shreveport; Ben Rushing of Shreveport; Homer & Helen Hogle of Jefferson; Billy & Suzanne Nixon of Fort Worth; Carol Scott of Austin; Jim & Mary Truelove of Richardson; Debbie Cantrell of Terrell; and Bob, Dorothy & Robert Metzler of Longview.
Weather Conditions:
Windy with partly cloudy skies. The morning low temperature was 62º F and the afternoon high was 80º F.Number of Nets: Thirteen (13).
Time:
We started putting up nets at 8:45 a.m. and we had them down by 5:10 p.m.
