Saturday, November 3, 2007: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson
; Tony Novak of Karnack; Rick Lowerre of Austin; Linda Palmer of Rockwall; Jack & Marilyn Welch of Uncertain; Terry Nicholson of Lewisville; Chris Nicholson of Uncertain; Diane Jones of Jonesville; Linda Friar of Homestead, Florida; Chuck Barrows of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Mac Hobbs of Vivian, Louisiana.

the afternoon high was 68º F. It was partly cloudy with no wind.
