Saturday, October 17, 2009: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Paul Tidwell of Jefferson, and Ron & Carolyn Bova of Quitman.
Weather
Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 43º F and
the afternoon high was 63º F. It was partly cloudy, with little wind.
Time:
We started setting up nets at 8:40 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:10 p.m
