Saturday, October 8, 2011: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities. Other participants included the host Tom Walker and 67 visitors.Weather Conditions: The morning low temperature was 63º F and the afternoon high was 90º F. The weather was clear and sunny, with a light breeze out of the southeast.
Time:
We started setting up nets at 8:50 a.m. and all nets were closed by 5:00 p.m.
